is NOT about being a good person so that GOD will love you.
is NOT about doing this but never do that.
is certainly NOT about one person thinking they are superior or better than another person. I continually find non-Christians who are more honest, friendly, generous and kind, than many Christians I know.
says women and men are equal in the eyes of GOD. Two thousand years ago, Jesus was an early public figure who elevated women’s status in the community to equality with men.
does NOT hate or look down on gay men or women, in fact, the opposite is true.
does NOT verbally abuse or assault another person with a different set of beliefs.
has NOTHING to do with institutional churches such as the Catholic church, Anglican church, the Baptist church or any other church organisation.
has NOTHING to do with men or women dressed in robes, or with a white collar on, or wearing a big hat or swinging bells and smoking balls?!?
is NOT about amazing, old church buildings with stained glass windows.
is NOT about going to church every Sunday.
is NOT about singing depressing, droning Hymns from the 1700s with ancient words in them that no one can understand anymore.
is NOT about having to believe in ‘fairies at the bottom of the garden’ , it is a history lesson. It is about examining a set of eyewitness accounts and judging for yourself if you believe them.
